New Ministerial team at DIUS

Following the recent ministerial reshuffle, the Department for Innovation, Universities & Skills Ministerial team has changed.

The Minsterial team is now:

• Secretary of State – Rt Hon John Denham MP
• Minister of State for Science and Innovation – Lord Drayson
• Minister of State for Higher Education and Intellectual Property – David Lammy MP
• Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Further Education – Siôn Simon MP
• Parliamentary Under Secretary for Skills and Apprenticeships – Lord Young of Norwood Green

Notes to editors

1. DIUS and the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) merged to create the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS) in June 2009. As part of the former DIUS, Government Skills became part of BIS from that date.
