Celebrating Apprenticeship Week 2010

27 January 2010

Apprenticeship Week takes place from Monday 1 February to Friday 5 February this year.

Organised by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), the third annual Apprenticeship Week is a chance to celebrate the talents and skills of apprentices. Apprentices, employers, providers and all those involved with Apprenticeship programmes come together to celebrate the value of apprenticeships.

Apprenticeships span the breadth of the economy – from accountancy and engineering, to construction, creative industries and the civil service.

Government Skills works all year round with employers from across government to increase apprenticeship opportunities for staff in government. Read more about the experiences of apprentices in government

As part of Apprenticeship Week, national and regional activities are taking place and each day has a different focus. Find out what is happening in your area [external website]
