Since launching in February the Government Skills team have been gradually increasing our numbers in order to start fulfilling our requirements as part of the Sector Skills Agreement. We now believe we possess the right number of colleagues and therefore the correct balance of skills.
The majority of staff are based in Admiralty Arch, in London, however Government Skills now boast a presence in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and the whole of England has been split into 3 regions, (north, central and south). The reason for this is that the skills needs differ not only across Great Britain but also across the country thus our regional presence allows us to represent the skills requirements on a parochial scale.
We offer a warm welcome to our new recruits and hope that their tenure with us is as long as it is challenging and subsequently satisfying.
