Qualifications
As part of its Skills Strategy, Government Skills is developing the Sector Qualifications Strategy to ensure that the central government workforce has in place the qualifications that it needs. This will be achieved by:
- working in partnership with other Sector Skills Councils and bodies that set standards to influence cross-sector qualifications
- steering the development of new qualifications specific to our sector where appropriate.
Key objectives
- To develop a qualifications strategy by May 2008
- To develop detailed action plans for qualification development by June 2008
