Action in England
In England, the programme to develop literacy, numeracy and ICT skills is called Skills for Life.
Government Skills has put together some Skills for Life resources, including:
- a guide for employers – highlighting a range of good practice on Skills for Life for employers in England.
- a delivery template for everyone involved in this work – setting out the different roles played by HR practitioners, union learning representatives and line managers
- an e-scratch card for employers to use with staff – an electronic test to find out who may have a Skills for Life need.
