The Skills Strategy is aimed at all staff across the entire sector, not just those at the top of the Civil Service. It covers non-departmental public bodies and the Armed Services as well as the Civil Service, and Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as England.
The strategy addresses the deep-seated skills needs of staff in frontline posts and those managing the delivery of public services across the UK. It seeks to:
